If you've selected a category for which eBay allows variations, you will be able to click on the toggle button in the "Variations" section:

What you will learn in this guide:

  1. Adding variation options

  2. Removing variation options

  3. Saving your variation choices

  4. Making additional changes to the selected choices

  5. Editing the variants' details (price, quantity, etc.)

  6. Deleting variant options

  7. Adding back individual variant options

Below you will find the complete guide for managing your listing variations:

1) Adding variation options

In the window that appears, you will first select the variation option in the drop-down menu on the left, then select option value(s) from the drop-down menu on the right:

To add more than one variation option, click on "+ ADD VARIATION OPTIONS":

2) Removing variation options

To remove a variation option, hover over it and click on the trash bin icon that appears to the right:

To remove a specific option value, click on the "x" within its text bubble:

3) Saving your variation choices

To save and apply the variations to your listing, click "APPLY" at the bottom right corner of the edit window:

4) Making additional changes

Should you wish to edit your variation options or option values, you can return to the edit window by clicking "EDIT VARIATION OPTIONS":

5) Editing the variants' details (eg. price, quantity, etc.)

After saving your variation options, you will need to fill in the details for each unique variant combination. There are two ways to do so: individually, or in bulk.

In bulk:

Begin by clicking the checkmarks on the left-side to select the variants you would like to edit. If you would like to edit all of them at once, you can click the checkmark at the very top.

Next, in the green menu bar that appears, click on "BULK EDIT" and then choose the attribute column you'd like to revise. Clicking on an attribute will then open a dialogue window where you can enter the value.

To save, click "Apply".

Individually:

Simply hover on each empty field and click the pencil icon that appears, you can then enter the information and click "Apply" once finished:

6) Deleting variation options:

So you've created your variations options, but there are certain variant combinations that you do not sell. To delete these variants, simply use the checkboxes to the right.

Clicking on specific checkboxes next to the variants, will select those specific variants.
Clicking at the first checkbox at the top of the list, will select all variants.

Once you've selected the variants you would like to delete, click on the text "DELETE VARIATIONS", which appears on the right-side of the green menu bar:

7) Adding back individual variant options:

If you've accidentally deleted a specific variant option, you can easily add it back.

Simply click on the "+ADD VARIATION" button on the left. In the pop-up that appears, enter all the specific variation details and then click "APPLY" at the bottom right.
