This error message is coming directly from eBay, what it means is If the listing is an auction, eBay will not allow changes to the listing if there is less than 12 hours left before bidding finishes. If the listing is a fixed price item, you may have a pending best offer from a customer which needs to be addressed before you can make changes to the listing - log into your eBay account and respond to the offer, then try revise the listing once again!

​If your listings fall under any of the following categories, they cannot be edited -

  • auction style listings that have at least one pending bid

  • auction style listings that are ending in less than twelve hours

  • fixed price listings that have at least one quantity sold

  • fixed price listings that have a pending best offer
