This new update to eBay is a big one. Please make sure to read this aticle thoroughly to make sure you have all your bases covered.
There are a few different situations you can be in. Please find the situation that best suits you and follow the instructions in order to have compliant listings.

Situation #1: Non-Permitted Links in your description

If you have non-compliant links in your descriptions, you can use our new Find & Replace tool to remove/edit these links. Click here for instructions on how to use our Find & Replace tool.

Situation #2: Permitted links

If you have links that are permitted as per eBays Links Policy, they still need to be changed from http to https. To do this, follow the same solution as in Situation #1 - use the Find & Replace tool.

Situation #3: Non-Permitted links in Template

If you do not have any links in your description, you are probably being warned about links in CrazyLister templates. These links have now been removed. All you have to do is re-apply the template to the listings. Click here for instructions on how to update your listings' template.

Situation #4: Cross Sell Gallery

In case your cross-sell gallery was applied before October 18 2017, please follow this tutorial to update your gallery to the new and compliant version.

Situation #5: CrazyLister Footer Logo

Our CrazyLister logo at the footer of your listing did have a link and has been updated. You may still have the link in your listing if that particular listing was not updated with a updated template. Simply re-apply the template to the listing and you should be good to go! Click here for instructions.

Situation #6: eBay Notified you About Contact Information in your Listings

If eBay sent you a message saying you have non-permitted contact information in your listings, and you know that you do not have any, you still received this notification because eBay has bundled up the "no contact information policy" with their "Links Policy". You probably received this notification because there are links in your template. To fix this, follow the instructions in Situation #3.

Now your listings should all be 100% compliant with eBay. But just to be sure -

Checking Compliance

Once you have made the right changes to your template/listings, you can check your listings compliance by following the same link you received in eBay's "View Listings with Policy Violations" message. You should see a count of zero when your listings are 100% compliant.

You can also check your compliance with the following useful websites -
